The Nati Frinj is a biennial arts festival in the small (pop 500) Wimmera town of Natimuk (western Victoria, Australia). The Nati Frinj provides a high quality arts festival in a small rural town. It synthesises local community input and the work of resident professional artists, and brings in high calibre professional artists from other parts of Australia. The Frinj makes art that is challenging and innovative. It involves many local residents and enables invited artists and festival visitors alike to experience the warmth of a tiny rural community. The Nati Frinj inspires artists and community members and aims to contribute to Natimuk’s evolution as an artistic mecca and its developing reputation as a place of fine and surprising art events.
